| Installation Method |
TERMINAL |
Augur/Drill/Bore a hole of 6-8 inch diameter at to a suitable
depth of 2-3 meters(Electrode Length). |
Throw handful compound into the pit. |
Remove the plastic sleeve carefully from the electrode. |
Place the electrode at centre of the pit. |
Then pour some water and gently poke around the pit with a
long wooden rod, to allow trapped air to escape. |
In this manner gradually continue the filling process till the
electrode is buried in the pit up to the green patch painted on top
portion of electrode. |
Ensure that the pit is not watery. |
Pack the electorde with soil tightly, so that it stands firmly in the
pit |
Pour a few buckets of water around the pit. |
In hard and sandy soil conditions, do not mix compound with
dug out soil. Use backfill compound only with water as above |
If auguring not possible up to 3 meters inform customer/dealer. |
Construct a chamber for protection of the terminal. |
